Meet the Pack
We’re Junko and Frank, hosts of Mountolive — home to The Wagon and The Studio, our dog-friendly accommodations in the Perth Hills. Mountolive is a peaceful escape where you and your dog can relax and enjoy nature together. Our 20-acre property has private trails, a winter dam, a gentle creek, and natural pools to explore.
We love seeing happy dogs and their humans feeling right at home. We've got 5 adorable pups, Milky, Stormy, Ivory, Xiaky and BonBon and can't wait to meet you (and your four-legged partner) ! 🐾

Discover serenity and peace at our one-bedroom Studio, perfect for up to 4 guests. Enjoy a king-size bed upstairs and a double-size sofa bed downstairs, along with a kitchen and an outdoor BBQ. Exclusive to studio guests, the largest dog enclosure spans over 800m²—equivalent to 3-4 full-size tennis courts! The Studio is surrounded by lush green with a koi pond, easy access to trails, winter dam and creeks. Dogs enjoy swimming in our award-winning bush swimming pool. Revel in the stunning bush views and experience a tranquil retreat like no other.

Escape to The Wagon: A cozy, secluded 2-bedroom retreat for up to 5 guests, nestled in the serene beauty of the bush. The main bedroom features a double-size bed, while the second room offers 2 single bunk beds. Additionally, there’s a single sofa bed in the living/dining room. Just 15 steps from a refreshing swimming pool and featuring a relaxing spa perfect for you and your furry friend. One of our private trails is just above The Wagon. Fully fenced and private, The Wagon promises a peaceful and comfortable stay, complete with a full kitchen and an outdoor BBQ.

Our standard check-in time commences after 3:00 PM, and check-out concludes by 10:00 AM
We accept only Credit Card payments. The initial payment of 50% is due at the time of booking, and the second payment is automatically collected 30 days before your arrival.
Guest receives 100.00% if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
A $500 security deposit is required for this property. It will be held on your credit card by the property two days before your check-in and released on the 14th day after your check-out.
Guests must sign the Guest Occupancy Agreement/Rental Agreement.
